My life has been an incredible journey.  I've been up, down, rich, poor, happy, sad- a multitude of circumstances and emotions. I've battled with my ego and failed many times.  I've given up on hope more times than I can count.  I've lied, cheated, stole, judged, and back-stabbed.  I've worn fur, eaten meat, thrown cigarette butts out of the car window, drank coffee out of styrofoam, and shopped at places that exploit child laborers.  
And I've battled with the guilt associated with such actions for decades.
But through it all I've gained some very valuable lessons and insights regarding my path.  I've learned to accept my imperfections not as flaws but as teachers.  I've learned to detach myself from the physical implications and seek the underlying spiritual truths.  I've realized that perfectionsim is simply an illusion of the ego. 
I am here to learn. 
I am here to teach.
I am here to experience.
I am here to grow.
My life journey may not parallel that of Gandhi or Buddha, and I may never reach total enlightenment in this lifetime, but I'm gonna keep on keepin' on anyhow!
